Hello! I'm Ayal, one of the many people who call planet Earth home.

I address this manifesto to everyone who lives between countries and between cultures, who feels that the country and culture they were born into don't make them truly happy, and may even hold them back. I didn't choose where I was born. Yet our place of birth and the other circumstances we're born with shape our lives and can create real problems.

The world does not give everyone an equal chance at happiness and safety. Some are born where surviving each hour is a struggle; others are born where simply being yourself can cost you your life. And that is only a small part of the inequality handed to us at birth.

No one on Earth consciously chooses their birthplace, their sex, their skin colour, their culture or anything else of the kind. That is why none of these should ever become a reason for discrimination or violence.

From early childhood I paid no attention to my origins: nationality, race, ethnicity, gender, until someone reminded me of them.

I have always felt, first and foremost, human. But it turned out that some people see me as anything but an equal neighbour on this planet. They see an Asian, a migrant, a Korean, a Chinese man, a guy; some see a gay man or a woman, and so on. All of this is only a part of me, a very small part, and it doesn't define me. Such a narrow perception is the result of a distorted consciousness.

What stops people from seeing one another as equals and living without aggression is holisticide. It is the deformation and encapsulation of human consciousness through manipulation and the restriction of freedoms and opportunities. It happens unnoticed and begins at birth.

Normalised violence and discrimination in society are merely the consequences of holisticide. As someone who grew up in a colonised region under the total control of an autocratic regime, I know what this means. Put another way, it is the systematic influence on human consciousness in order to control behaviour and will, limit opportunities and preserve the status quo of autocrats, unlike countries where human rights are genuinely upheld and protected. This phenomenon has always existed but never had a precise name, so humanity could only see its consequences: Nazism, fascism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, machismo and more.

No one is the property of the country or culture they were born into. We are all free to change and to choose what makes us happy and useful to the world. But modern colonialism is real. It is especially visible among Indigenous peoples in autocratic countries, who are quietly disappearing under the pressure of normalised discrimination and restricted rights. These countries limit education in their own languages, and gradually, generation after generation, a people with its own language and culture effectively vanishes, absorbed into the modern colony.

I believe human consciousness should be protected from childhood against holisticide, a destructive influence that leads to radical views, intolerance, violence and aggression towards one another.

I believe that learning to see one another as equal neighbours on this planet will only make the world better. We already have everything we need for this: intelligence, awareness, compassion, imagination, creativity, kindness and love. Deep down we always feel that we are more than our gender, nationality, age, sexuality, race, species and the rest. And yet these parts matter too.

A person who is more than a citizen of their country, more than the language they speak, more than the labels and roles they play in society, is a Multihuman. A Multihuman is free from the conditions set at birth, with a free mind; they move easily between cultures, understand the universal human language and believe that people do not belong to regimes or systems. They have friends, or want to have friends, from different cultures and corners of the world. And right now they are creating a space where people's differences are not a problem or a cause for conflict, but a chance to grow together and build a safe multicultural community.

I stand for a universal human language of kindness and humanity, expressed through music, with respect for the diversity of cultures, views and identities. Every culture and every system should, above all, be safe for people, offering freedom and the chance to fulfil their potential.

I invite us to build this together, right now: to remember to see one another beyond our labels and roles, and to pay closer attention to the cultures that are invisible to us, unfamiliar, or even frightening. Let's get to know each other and become richer within as a result.
